Tapaus, the largest event company in the Nordic region, will soon be ten years old. Takana had become well known to Tapaus even before it was established, when Takana’s two founders provided security services for foreign events for Tapaus. As they had worked well as a team, it seemed only logical to call on Takana in 2018.
High-level, dedicated experts in their field
Security, risk management, planning and managing a COVID-19 strategy are instances of the services provided to Tapaus.
To cite a good example, Antti Kihlström, project director for Takana, comments that over the last 18 months Tapaus and Takana had worked closely together, on planning and managing high-level COVID-19 contingency plans at Neste’s Porvoo refinery.
With Juhani from Takana, we were responsible for a project worth approximately EUR 500 million and the associated COVID-19 safety for the project and the construction site, so that the project could be implemented despite the pandemic.
Tapaus uses a lot of top professionals in different areas for its events, so operators like Takana and Takana themselves have a big role to play in the events sector.
We at Tapaus are highly dependent on the high performance of our suppliers, whether they are security services, technology, or a catering company, comments Kihlström.
The common denominator: a similar mindset
Kihlstrom says that Takana’s entrepreneurial mindset is one of the factors it appreciates most about the collaboration. Both companies focus on adding value for the customer, and this is what makes Takana such a good team player.
We work together and complete tasks with real motivation. Which is why Takana is such an important partner to us. Their way of serving the customer is very similar to ours. With Takana you can always rely on them to go the extra mile when required.
It’s not hard to guess that the collaboration will continue to be beneficials, but let’s give Kihlström the opportunity to paint a picture of the future:
I hope that we will be able to focus on our everyday jobs. In addition, I’m looking forward to more projects like Neste where we will be able to tackle tasks for the first time and face brand-new challenges together. I have an inkling that any project we conduct with Takana will succeed.
